The CCE as the organisational part of the Technical University in Zvolen is focused on developing and providing continuing education to the citizens of the Slovak Republic by the Continuing Education Act no. 386/1997 Coll. as amended and Act no. 568/2009 as amended in collaboration with the faculties of the University and in accordance with their technical specialisations. The CCE was established as part of the Technical University in Zvolen in June 2004 and it aims to continue in a successful activity of the Local Centre of Distance Education (LSDV) which was integrated into the Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology at the Technical University in Zvolen.
The main aims:
- organising seminars, courses, training sessions, and conferences,
- developing and coordinating national and international projects in the field of continuing education,
- designing, creating and distributing study materials,
- consultancy in the field of continuing education.
History
The Centre of Continuing Education was established as part of the Technical University in Zvolen in June 2004 and it aims to continue in a successful activity of the Local Centre of Distance Education (LSDV) which was integrated into the Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology at the Technical University in Zvolen. In the present is Department of Education.
